Welcome to Red Maple Blueberry Farm, one of Southeast Georgia's premiere "pick your own" fruit farms. We are a small and
locally owned blueberry farm near the town of Guyton in Effingham County, Georgia. Conveniently located, we are only 20 miles
from the South Carolina border, and in driving distance from Chatham, Screven, Bryan, Effingham, and Bullock counties in
Red Maple Blueberry Farm is one of the oldest blueberry farms in Georgia, dating back to the 1950's. William Orsen Beecher,
professor and dean of students at Armstrong State College, realized his vision as one of the first people in Georgia to grow a large
acreage of blueberries. The farm has been in my family since the early 1970's and as it is, we have 10 plus acres of the finest all
natural Rabbiteye blueberries, with Tifblue as the predominant variety.
